But our story didn’t just start with an idea - it started with a partnership that challenged us to think bigger.
When Dheeraj Khatore took on the role of CEO of the American Accreditation Commission International’s Indian chapter, we found ourselves accrediting some of the finest hospitals across India. But as we continued, a thought kept crossing our minds: Was accreditation enough? Could we do more than just stamp approval on hospitals?
As we were digging deeper into the world of Indian healthcare industry, we observed that some handful hospital brands dominate the international market, constantly being in the spotlight, while equally capable hospitals remained unnoticed. It wasn’t for lack of skill or quality, but rather the absence of visibility. The imbalance didn’t sit right with us. These were our partners too, and they deserved the chance to show the world what they could offer.
That’s when the idea of EmergeMed started to take shape. It wasn’t just about creating another platform—it was about giving international patients the opportunity to explore all the best care options India has, not just a select few. We wanted to help more hospitals break into the global stage, while also giving patients more diversity in their choices for world-class treatment.
And so, EmergeMed was born out of that purpose—to help hospitals emerge from the shadows and give patients a more comprehensive range of healthcare options.

Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Dheeraj Khatore is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background in healthcare quality & auditing. With over a decade of comprehensive experience as a healthcare quality audits and international business operations, Dheeraj has demonstrated expertise across various domains.
As an entrepreneur, he has successfully ventured into multiple areas, including medical training, healthcare AI, digital health, quality accreditation, EMS consultations, and ambulance designs and operations globally. Dheeraj holds a master’s degree in healthcare management with a specialization in artificial intelligence in healthcare. Additionally, he has completed a certificate program in digital health from IIM Raipur.
